We’re half-way through the week and I’m so thrilled, because today is my last day of work before vacation! I’ve been looking forward to this day ALL summer. As happy as I am, there’s always a little tiny part of me that hates to leave my patients. I’m Type-A and a little bit (ok, maybe more than a little bit) of a control freak, so I’m always worried about how things will go when I’m away. A part of me feels personally responsible for them, almost like a mother for her child. I’ve always been very overprotective of my patients. I’m not sure if all nurses feel this way, or if it’s just because I’m a dialysis nurse, so I see the same patients every day. BUT, at the same time, this girl really needs a break and some serious relaxation. And a fresh lobster roll. 😉
Going into fall, I love when I find tops that are really transitional, like this grey peplum sweatshirt. Yesterday was almost fall-like, and I ended up wearing a cardigan (not gonna lie, I was pretty excited about it). Heading into September, we get a lot of days that are a little too chilly for a t-shirt, but not cold enough for a sweater. That’s where this sweatshirt comes in. It’s perfect now with flip flops, then throw it on with booties in the fall. It also comes in red, black, and stripes. The sizing does run a little large. I’m wearing an XS, and it’s a more relaxed fit. If you’re on the fence, I would definitely go down a size. The material is really soft and comfy. Come to think of it, you could even wear this top with a cute pair of sneakers!
I hope you’re having a great week so far! If you haven’t done so already, please take a minute to fill out my survey to help me know what you’d like to see on my blog in the upcoming months! I really value your input, and want to keep putting out content that YOU want to see.
Thanks to everyone who’s already taken it. I love hearing what you have to say!
