I’m so excited that tomorrow is the first day of fall! It feels like we’ve been waiting forever, and it’s still humid and muggy here lately. I’m ready for sweatshirts, boots, and hot chocolate (like, yesterday). This is my second fall season as a fashion blogger, and it makes me laugh how my Instagram feed goes from bright pops of color to ALL neutrals almost overnight. haha! Does anyone else dress differently for each season? I wear a lot more color in the summer, then stick with more neutrals in the fall/winter. Lately, I’m noticing a lot more “love” for my neutral outfits, so if you want to keep seeing more of them, please let me know. I try to take notice of things like that, so I can create content that readers find ‘relatable’!
This olive green cardigan caught my eye during an online shopping session, and luckily it was available in-store, so I was able to try it on before purchasing. I love it with the striped tank underneath! Normally, I’d pair this cardigan with a solid tank, but I love how the stripes just add so much more to the outfit. I wasn’t exactly sure what color to call this cardigan, because it’s more of a burnished olive I’d say? It’s getting limited in sizes, but I love the ‘warm ash‘ shade, too. Another perfect neutral! Both my cardigan and tank are on major sale right now, so hurry if you love them. Oh, and I can’t forget to mention these booties, because they are fall-transition perfection. I’m wearing the “wood suede” color, which is more brownish-olive in person.
Life has been a little on the crazy side lately. We went on vacation, then I was planning for NYFW, and in the midst of all that, I was interviewing and contemplating another nursing position (which after WEEKS of indecision, I decided not to take). My stress level has been really high lately, and I’m getting a little burnt out. Vacation, believe it or not, didn’t really help my burnout, because when you work night shift, nothing helps. lol! I’m hoping to take it easy this fall and relax a little more. Easier said than done. This little blog gig keeps me busy, along with a little boy who turns 3 next month, and just started preschool yesterday! It’s so hard to believe he’s almost 3. He’s so smart and cute, but he’s in a crazy-naughty phase right now, that I’m hoping passes before I lose my mind. 😉 Seriously though. This toddler phase is for the birds, and I’m not sure how people with multiple children function. HOW DO YOU DO IT? WHAT IS YOUR SECRET!?!?!? And don’t say wine. I’ve already tried that. 😉
