So many jackets, so little funds. 😉 Who’s spent a small fortune on the #Nsale already?! Eeek. The clothing is where it’s at this year (the shoes and accessories are really disappointing in my opinion). Like I’ve said so many times, jeans and jackets are my FAVORITE pieces to shop during the sale. So here’s a peek at my Nordstrom Anniversary sale dressing room session!
I can’t say enough good things about these jeans! The brand is co-founded by Khloe Kardashian, and these babies are made to bring out all the curves. 😉 They just may be the most flattering jeans I’ve ever tried. They run true to size. If in doubt, go down a size (they have plenty of stretch). They were sold out in 0, so I went with a 00 and they still fit great. Oh, and they’re high-waisted, which normally I’m not a fan of. But these are super flattering!
Another perfect pair of denim, in a darker shade for fall. I wore these to church yesterday, and they’re so comfy. This is my first pair of 7 For All Mankind jeans, and so far I’m loving them. One thing I did notice is they tend to stretch out a little throughout the day. Wondering if maybe I should have gone down a size? Otherwise, they’re perfect. I really like the raw hem and cropped (not so much on me) length. They’re half the original price right now, too. P.S. This white tee needs to be in everyone’s closet. It’s $15! Get the gray, too!
When I did my ‘Nordstrom Anniversary sale top picks‘ post, this jacket was one of them, and I thought for sure I’d be bringing it home. However, in person, I wasn’t totally into the color. It’s almost a little too cognac for me (my friend hit the nail on the head when she said it has a ‘Western’ feel to it). It’s still a really pretty jacket, I’m just not sure I’m sold on the color for myself.
Now this color on the other hand, is gorgeous. And it already sold out. 🙁 I’m pretty positive they will restock, especially once the sales goes public. I passed up this jacket last year, and think it needs to come home with me this year. It runs true to size (I’m wearing an XS.) I’ll be clicking “purchase” as soon as this baby is restocked.
There’s always a great faux-leather jacket during the #Nsale, and this one is it this year. I love that this jacket has gold hardware (finally) and is petite-friendly (like most of the BlankNYC jackets, thank you, thank you)! I probably would have brought her home with me, but I already have enough black jackets, and I’m trying to purge my closet.
This leather bomber jacket is just the cutest. How about those puffy little sleeves? It’s more of an investment (since it’s leather), but the style is timeless, and the color is so versatile. It also comes in burgundy and coffee brown. This jacket fits true to size, and is so buttery soft! Oh, and hey, there’s those jeans again. Obsessed.
I already shared this cardigan on Instagram, because it’s one of my favorite purchases from the sale. There are always a ton of cardigans, but they are rarely petite-friendly. This one is so feminine, with the ruffle detail in the back, and also a great length (and not too big in the shoulders). I love it, and I’m thinking of getting it in black, too. I’m wearing the XS.
The cutest little bells sleeves I ever did see. This is one of those pieces that’s making me wish it was already fall. Haha! (Too soon??) I love the fit, and that the sleeves have the bells attached, instead of them being the only part at the bottom (if that makes sense). You will find me wearing this sweater with leopard flats and boots all the way through winter. Love it!
The #Nsale tops are just SO good this year. This one is such a bargain (only $25), and the prettiest dusty mauve color. Style it with sandals at the end of summer, and with booties or flats in the fall. It’s so soft and casual, perfect for every day. Just note, it is more fitted, so I went up a size. I’m wearing a Small.
Who doesn’t need a perfect, striped tee in their closet? For $18, you can’t pass this one up. I can’t wait to wear it with plaid scarves in the fall. Or some leopard print. Believe it or not, a striped tee is such a neutral piece that goes with SO much. And if you’re not into stripes, it comes in a bunch of other great colors.
Trend alert! Velvet is going to be huge this fall. This peplum top isn’t really my style, but I loved the color, so I had to try it on. Love the fit, and the price was shocking to me. I would have thought it was a lot more expensive. It’s a perfect ‘date night’ top.
I hope you enjoyed this peek into my Nordstrom Anniversary sale dressing room session. I had so much fun trying on all these finds, and can’t wait to show you how I’m going to style some of them for fall. Stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
