If you’re like me, when you think of LulaRoe, you probably think of crazy printed leggings. When my cousin recently became a LulaRoe retailer, I was thrilled to find out there’s SO much more than that. As soon as I saw this LulaRoe Sarah Cardigan, I instantly loved the style and had to try it for myself! I’m a total cardigan-girl, and don’t have any quite like this one.
LulaRoe Sarah Cardigan Review
- Length ~ So this was my biggest concern with this cardigan. I was a little worried it would be too long on me. (I’m only 5’1.) I was able to try it on before buying, and decided I loved the length. I think if it was a few inches longer, it would be a little overwhelming for petites, but it’s surprisingly a perfect length. Also, if you head over to Pinterest, you can find all sorts of ways to tie it and make the length a little shorter, too.
- Fit ~ I love the fit of this cardigan. Being petite, I often have a hard time finding cardigans that fit well in the shoulder/sleeve area. This one is really fitted in the arms. I’m wearing an XS. The rest of the cardigan drapes beautifully, and I think I’d also love it belted.
- Quality ~ Overall, I’m really impressed with the quality of the material (and in LOVE with the mustard color). It’s a thick weave and not cheap feeling at all. The Sarah cardigans come in several different materials (6 to be exact, which you can also find on Pinterest by searching “LulaRoe Sarah materials”). This one I’m wearing is the Traditional material, which is a poly/spandex blend.
- Care ~ This particular Sarah cardigan is machine washable (cold, gentle cycle). And as the tag reads “Hang dry or you’ll be sad”. Haha! I love that. In other words, don’t put this baby in the dryer.
If you aren’t familiar with how LulaRoe works, there are a limited number of pieces created in each color/pattern. This Sarah cardigan is available in TONS of colors, materials, and sizes, but you can’t just go online and order this exact one. For this reason, I follow my cousin Stacy’s LulaRoe Facebook group, so I see her new inventory as it comes in. (I basically stalk it. 😉 ) I’ll definitely be purchasing more colors in this amazing cardigan!
I found this quote from a LulaRoe retailer online: “I desperately wanted to have something of my own, a chance to be creative. I wanted my confidence back and to bring joy to others. Then this amazing opportunity walked in and changed my life”. I really related to this quote, as those of some of the reasons I started my fashion blog almost 3 years ago. I will gladly support a company that promotes serving others, provides women with confidence and financial freedom, and supports families. You go LulaRoe!
Thanks for reading! Have a great Monday!
